We\u2019re pleased to inform you that Magdeburg-based AV-TEST GmbH is now a part of the Swiss IT Security Group (SITS Group). As part of its ongoing growth strategy, the SITS Group and its managing partners will be acquiring a 100% share in AV-TEST.<\/p>\n

This is the Group\u2019s fifteenth transaction since it was founded in 2017 and its ninth member based in Germany.<\/p>\n

Formed in 2004, AV-TEST specialises in the testing and certification of IT security solutions and has since established itself as a global market leader. Its 28 highly qualified employees specialise in the following areas:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

  • Testing and certifying security products: Continuously testing antivirus software, especially endpoint protection on Windows, macOS and Android; ensuring the security of gateway systems; cloud protection.<\/li>\n
  • Testing IoT (Internet of Things) solutions: Regularly testing and certifying IoT systems, smart home and mobile solutions, including eHealth products, the associated apps and connected cloud services.<\/li>\n
  • Malware analysis: Services for investigating unknown objects such as files and websites, and the precise analysis of malware.<\/li>\n
  • Data feeds: Based on one of the largest malware research databases in the world, customers have access to collections of data and metadata for analysing malware and harmless software.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
