A global company needs a global solution.
Randstad operates in 39 countries, each with its own systems, processes, and software solutions. This decentralized structure posed a major challenge to the security of sensitive data.
How can personal data of millions of talents, tens of thousands of employees, and countless clients be reliably protected in a fragmented system landscape with hundreds of applications?

The goal was to find a unified, automated, and user-friendly solution for Identity Governance & Access Management – with clearly defined access rights based on roles and profiles.

From strategy to reality – step by step.
SITS|Traxion supported Randstad from strategic planning to technical implementation. In each country, requirements were first analysed, then systems were integrated, followed by additional integrations. Meanwhile, preparations for the next country were already underway – an agile, efficient rollout process.

Special attention was paid to cultural sensitivity and close collaboration with local markets. Despite time zone differences and regional variations, SITS|Traxion succeeded in building a trusting and productive partnership.

The Result

Standardized processes, enhanced security, and noticeable efficiency:
Randstad now benefits from centralized management of over 50,000 identities. New employees automatically receive timely access to all relevant systems based on their role profile. Upon departure, access is reliably revoked. Control over data and access rights has significantly improved, and the risk of unauthorized access has been greatly reduced. Randstad can now also demonstrate IT security compliance more clearly in tenders.

The foundation for a fully harmonized system landscape has been laid – and the next development phase is already in planning.
